NOTICES

19th May 2013

All the events for this week are in the Parish Diary.

Thank you.

 Stewardship…. Dear Parishioners, thank you to all of our parishioners whose Dedicated Giving is up to date – it is really appreciated, particularly as our financial situation is not good. For those parishioners who pay direct into the bank, please make sure your reference is either your name or (preferably) your DG number, as the bank charges us R25.00 every time we query deposits with no reference. Thank you. Our banking details are as follows:

Standard Bank Benoni Branch – Code 013042

Account Name – ST. DUNSTANS CHURCH

Account No. – 021095574

REFERENCE – PLEASE quote your name or DG number on deposits

Dear Parishioners… On the first of July, the income tax returns are open for filing. The Diocese has a "Public Benefit Organisation" (PBO) number. If you have participated in Dedicated Giving, the Cathedral will issue you a letter with the PBO number stating that you have dedicated the amount given for the period 1st March 2012 to 28th February 2013.

If you wish to receive this letter, please contact Mike Cary on carymbc@netactive.co.za, alternatively call or text on 0826515470. We will need your full name, your tax reference number, and the amount that you paid (to verify against our records). You can then use this letter to claim a deduction when you submit your return. The responsibility for claiming the deduction is yours, and the South African Revenue Service has the final say.

Kind regards, Mike Cary – Church Warden.
