The Church of St. Dunstan's was proclaimed the Cathedral Church of the Diocese of the
Highveld on 24 November 1999 and its focus is Diocesan unity and ministry.
The mission statement of the Cathedral is:
We worship - We witness - We serve
Cathedral Collect:
Heavenly Father,
in your wonderful love for us
you have called us out of darkness
into the light and love of your Son:
Shine in each one of our hearts
that through our faithful worship, witness and service
We, your Cathedral Parish,
may proclaim your Kingdom of Love,
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
The Cathedral Foundation Trust has been formed in order to assist in the development,
equipping and maintaining the Cathedral. The Cathedral Trustees, who represent the
diverse life of our Diocese are:
