| 1. 2008-12-01 THE SUPPER CLUB | THE SUPPER CLUB (A FELLOWSHIP EVENT FOR ALL OF ST. DUNSTAN\\\\\\\'S FAMILY) The Supper Club is a fun filled evening where we try to arrange for as many of our St. Dunstan\\\\\\\'s family together to meet new friends and enjoy good company.
The evening starts with a good meal accompanied by some \\\\\\\"fruit of the vine\\\\\\\" followed by a guest speaker. It is clearly understood that one of the most important and cherishes things in life is one\\\\\\\'s TIME. However, we ask you to donate a couple of hours once a month to share in a little friendship and good will with your Sunday family.
We look forward to meeting you on the last Monday of the month at:
BRENTWOOD LODGE, ROAD NO 5, BRENTWOOD PARK
Please note the next meeting is on Monday 24th November 2008.
The next meeting of the Fellowship Supper will be at 7pm on Monday 08th December 2008 at a cost of R95 per person; please contact Terry Tribe on 083 377 0598 to book your seat. | | | 2. 2007-12-12 Childrens' Church | | Joan, Aileen. Leatitia and myself are continuing with the Godly Play Stories and, now that we are in our new room, it is even better. We plan to revamp this Room and so in 2008, it will have a whole new look! The children range from about two years old to twelve, where after they go to Phil\'s Youth Group, and so our stories and activities suite that age group. We try to have a relaxed atmosphere that does not seem like 'school', although we do remind the children that we are in our special Place where we come to worship God, so that they don't get too rowdy.
We invite any parents or parishioners to come and join us at any time to worship Jesus through children's eyes! Love & Best wishes for 2008, Reneé

Welcome to our website! This Cathedral is one of the youngest cathedrals in the Anglican Communion. Declared the Cathedral of the Diocese of the Highveld on the Feast of Christ the 1999, as a Cathedral Parish, under God, we are striving to become for the Diocese a centre for worship, theological education, hospitality and fellowship and social responsibility. We believe that the call to be the Cathedral of the Diocese was a call to servanthood.
We are called to be:
It is intended to establish a centre for Theological Education and
Reflection in memory of Bishop Simeon Nkoane CR when the St. Dunstan\'s Prep.
School moves to its new site.
A centre for hospitality and fellowship. The facilities that the Cathedral has are used for Diocesan meetings, and meetings of groups with the Diocese such as the Diocesan Counsellors.
It is a our Bishop’s vision to move his offices to the Cathedral, and together with the Theological institute set up offices and facilities for the considerable HIV/Aids and social responsibility work of the Diocese.
This is the exciting challenge that is before us a Cathedral Parish. Pray for us as we seek to bring that to fruition.
Yours in Him,
DEAN
